Thank you. Position Description: The Briar Team is seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition and operate safely on the road. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our transportation operations.Benefits:Local work from our shop in Sanford, FLWages: Hourly. ($25-$35)Pay Rate: Weekly5am-3:30pm Monday through Friday with Saturdays on an as-needed basisPTO at 6 monthsYearly Performance and Wage reviewPaid HolidaysPaid Birthdays401K Profit SharingGenerous and affordable Benefits starting at 90 days of employment.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct regular maintenance and inspections on the fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.Coordinate with other team members to schedule repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Order necessary parts and maintain an inventory of tools and equipment.Provide emergency roadside assistance when needed.
