Our client, a venture capital firm located in San Francisco, is hiring an Executive / Personal Assistant. This is a full time role, supporting one of the partners of the firm with light scheduling support for 2 additional team members. The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, and have strong communication skills. Job Details:COMPANY: Venture Capital FirmPOSITION: Executive AssistantLOCATION: San Francisco/Bay Area, CAHOURS: 8:30am - 5:00pm PSTOFFICE REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 days in officeCOMPENSATION: $80k-100k base BACHELORS DEGREE: PreferredResponsibilities of the Executive Assistant:-This role will require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, project managing, and demonstrating forward thinking.-Update and maintain calendars for the individual(s) they support, including management of calendar conflicts and calibration.-Coordinate and organize meetings, events, and video conferences, including logistics and materials.- Plan, coordinate, and arrange travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, hotels. Research and provide recommendations for restaurants, venues, and local attractions.-Handling confidential information with discretion and timely expense management.-Plan, coordinate and ensure schedules are followed and respected.-Foresee, research, and address potential issues; able to see around corners.-Special Projects as needed including light personal assistance mainly around travel, appointments, and research for opportunities for the family. Requirements of the Executive Assistant:-Strong organizational skills: ability to set and achieve priorities while working with multiple team members, several moving pieces at a time, and frequent status changes.-Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others to solve practical problems and deliver results.-Partnering, rapport-building, and relationship management skills.-Initiative to seek learning opportunities and take on new tasks/responsibilities.-Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate the needs of individuals they cover, and exercise independent, sound judgment.-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.-Well-versed in domestic travel.-Ability to be resourceful in handling travel logistics, including restaurant and hotel recommendations.-Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required.
