This is a newly created position that is much needed for their beautiful 94-acre campus.The Facilities Manager is responsible for providing timely, competent, and professional delivery of facility services (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Transportation, Campus Safety, Grounds/Landscaping, Community Services) for residents and team members of the community and to function as a backup/resource/liaison for the Senior Director of Facility Services.Additional **5-star communityNewly renovated, beautiful communityOldest continuing care retirement community in MDBrand new Health and Wellness Center for residents and employeesKey **High school diploma REQUIRED and additional Facilities Certification preferred5+ years of Facilities Management experienceExperience in a senior living setting preferredProfessionalism and excellent customer service skillsStrong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbingKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety, and fire protection systemsComprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and county health and sanitation codes and regulations pertaining to a healthcare setting (CMS, MOSH, OSHA, NFPA Life Safety Code, etc.)General plant management knowledgeExperience with budgeting and purchasing practices/proceduresGeneral knowledge of and direct experience with mechanical, carpentry, transportation, safety, housekeeping, and grounds-related tasks and regulations
