Facilities Manager1-year Contract Palo Alto, Ca - On-site$65 - $75/hour Our client, a world-renowned hospital, is seeking a Facilities Manager for a long-term contract! This role serves as the primary liaison for a key client, overseeing a broad range of internal and external operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment. The position involves providing leadership and coordination across multiple teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standardsResponsibilities:Manage, and coordinate facility services to include but not limited to parking, security, cleaning, landscaping, building system & equipment maintenance services, fire life safety, emergency responseActively seek ways to improve cost efficiencies, including management of purchased services, forecasting, and variance reportingDirectly responsible for the financial management of cost centers in their portfoliosPerform regular site or zone inspections for conditions and safetyAssists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as the department representative on committees and professional organizationsAssesses and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the projectPrepares and maintains accurate, timely, and auditable project records/files, and cost estimatesOversees project management as needed for cosmetic upgrades. Manages labor pool to coordinate facility requests as applicableThis position may require on-call availability as needed Qualifications:3+ years of directly related work experienceValid California Driver's LicenseBachelor's degree is highly preferredPreferred professional designations: BOMI, IFMA, CRECI Interested in learning more?
