The firm offers a hybrid work schedule, a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional growth.ResponsibilitiesReview medical records and add relevant dates/information to the medical chronologyDraft discovery motions, including Motions to Extend Discovery, Motions to Compel Discovery, and Motions to Enforce SubpoenaReview Plaintiffs Answers to InterrogatoriesSchedule and coordinate IMEs for plaintiffUtilize research software (Westlaw preferred) and other online sourcesAssist in retention of expertsPrepare HIPPA Authorization Forms for Plaintiffs execution and returnRetrieval of medical records from providersFollow-up with providers to ensure receipt of records of HIPPA requestPerform Jury Verdict Searches using WestlawPreparation of privilege logsProduction of documentsRequirements3+ years of defense litigation experience, preferably in insurance defenseProficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteMeticulous organizational skills and a keen attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThorough working knowledge of and experience working in the Pennsylvania State and Federal court systemsKnowledge of New Jersey State court system is a plusExperience working under billable hour requirementsProficiency with legal research tools, including Westlaw, Lexis, and PACERBachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited programIf youre a proactive and detail-oriented paralegal ready to join a top-tier firm and make an impact on a growing litigation team, we'd love to hear from you!
