Harvard University’s Faculty of Divinity seeks to appoint afull-time tenured ortenure-track faculty member to fill the Charles Chauncey StillmanProfessorshipof Roman Catholic Theological Studies. We welcome applications fromcandidateswith expertise in Catholic theology, as well as those who studyCatholicism fromthe perspective of other disciplines—including Biblical studies,comparativestudies, cultural studies, ethics, gender and sexuality, history,literature, philosophy,politics, and ethnography—and are open to the theologicaldimensions of theirscholarship. Successful candidates should be prepared to teachclasses that reflectthe cultural diversity of Roman Catholicism in the United Statesand around theworld. Excellence in teaching and research is expected.
