Clinical Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies Job No: 498229 Work Type: Faculty Full-time Department: Katz School Location: Resnick Campus, 1165 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx, NY Categories: Education/Teaching Position Summary: The Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Yeshiva Universitys Katz School of Science and Health is seeking a full-time faculty member to work in our PA program. Responsibilities include development of course syllabi; instruction, mentorship, and remediation of didactic and clinical year students; evaluation of course success and student learning outcomes; student recruitment and retention; and University, School, and Departmental committee service. Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Developing and writing syllabi for coursework taught in the didactic and clinical phases of the Katz Schools PA Program Teaching didactic and clinical year students Teaching current clinical medicine gold standard practices Providing remediation instruction to ensure student success Participating in Site Visits as needed Advising students in both the didactic and clinical phases of education Serving on program, school, and university committees Participating in university and community service activities Participating in Katz School scholarship activities and projects Collaborating and innovating with members of the Katz School faculty in AI and Biotech projects as they pertain to healthcare Participating in PA program self-assessment projects and accreditation activities Participating in student recruitment events and retention initiatives Experience & Educational Background: If a Physician Assistant, a Masters degree is required, as well as the following: Current PA national certification (candidate is required to maintain certification throughout employment) Licensure or eligibility for licensure in NYS Minimum of two years clinical experience Higher education teaching experience preferred Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 Application Instructions: Please upload cover letter, cv and list of three references About Us: The Katz School of Science and Health, with 1300 masters and doctoral students, is now the largest graduate school at Yeshiva University.
