Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join their team. As a Documentation Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Laboratory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Documentation Specialist Location: Round Lake, IL What's the Job? Review and verify batch release documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Assess production and testing records to identify discrepancies, deviations, or non-conformances. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve documentation issues promptly. Support internal audits and external inspections by providing accurate documentation support. Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to documentation review processes. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s Degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharma or medical devices, focusing on batch record review. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation review and cross-team collaboration.
