This position will be a full-time and onsite contract opportunity in Hampton, VA The work schedule for this role will be M-F 6:00AM - 2:30PM.This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. What You’ll Do Provide support and daily troubleshooting for assembly, welding, soldering, wiring, measurement systems, testing, and other manufacturing processes as requiredWillingness to acquire knowledge of additional processes over timeCollaborate closely with manufacturing personnel to assist in new projects and product launchesPrepare and modify documentation related to manufacturing processes, including BOMs, routers, standard work procedures, and process run/setup sheetsInitiate improvement ideas and actions to enhance product manufacturability, safety, quality, and cost-effectivenessEfficiently manage small projects to ensure timely completion within budget constraints What You'll Need RequiredPossess a minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or GED equivalentDemonstrated expertise in soldering, wiring, and measurement systemsSelf-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environmentEffective communication skills essential for collaboration within teamsFlexible mindset adaptable to changing priorities or focus areasPreferredAssociate’s degree in Engineering or Engineering TechnologyUtilizing LEAN tools for process optimizationFamiliarity with electrical assembly, welding, and test equipmentExperience with SAP system utilizationSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationProficiency in 2D or 3D CAD software Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$25.00-36.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
