Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Operations Department supporting multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and inclusive work environment. Job Title: Building Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC What's the Job? Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform routine maintenance and monitoring repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems. Travel between multiple facilities to support their proper functioning and maintenance needs. Manage facility services including preventative maintenance, inventory control, and contracted work. Record readings, calibrate equipment, and make adjustments to maintain system efficiency and safety standards. What's Needed? High School Diploma or Equivalent. 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems effectively. EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred. Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel; valid driver’s license required. What's in it for me?
