PROCESS ENGINEER/CAD INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING Location: Dallas, NC   Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Process Engineer with CAD experience to be based at our Dallas, NC location. The Process Engineer will be responsible for deploying the plant's Continuous Improvement program, developing, implementing, managing Lean or improved processes, supporting process and cost reduction initiatives, managing waste reduction objectives and strategies, monitor the Continuous Improvement management processes within the plant as well as work with plant cross-functional teams and in collaboration with other branches to drive rapid results to deliver the highest levels of performance through reapplication of best practices. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating Computer-Aided Design and CAM models for glass entrances and shower doors using AutoCAD software.   WHO YOU ARE: You look for solutions as a hobby since you are lean certified Likes a challenge.  Multi-tasking is a natural ability and a way of life Deadlines are no threat, never met one you could not handle Leadership is part of your DNA   WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Lead/work with functional teams to streamline processes to improve throughput and enable profitable growth Assist plant leaders and champions in selecting projects that align with plant financial goals, KPIs and strategies Develop mechanisms and lead initiatives and events to help the organization identify improvement opportunities that reduce/eliminate non-value-added activities within production and business processes, (such as 5S, Visual Management, Daily Management Systems, Process Controls and Root Cause Analysis) Ensures plant's tracking dashboard is maintained, and results are communicated effectively to organizational leadership. Manage work cell, departmental and overall plant communication boards. Provide ongoing support to multiple project teams Supports and engages in Plant KPIs including Safety, Quality, Service and Cost as a key player in the plant management team. Leads improvement projects of significant size and scope. Responsible for best practice sharing process within the plant and cluster Work closely with relevant departments to meet customer demand and maximize industrial production while maintaining efficient and steady workflow. Develop , review, and analyze specifications, drawings and related data to asses factors affecting designs Draft and work on the automated process of CAD Ensure that a .dxf file is created, properly saved for the Customer PO that requires manual fabrication and documented on the PO for CSRs to enter the order with the .dxf file Communicate product information, changes, delays, etc. to the necessary departments or personnel Work with Production to resolve any errors during optimization or errors due to .dxf file Digitize or complete a handcut pattern for all customer patterns Provide timely feedback to Customer Service and Operations Management Recommend strategies to help alleviate capacity restraints Perform other duties as assigned   SKILLS YOU BRING: BS/BA Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or other related field of study), or other technical degree preferred. At least 3-5 years Process Engineer work experience Minimum 1 year of prior experience with AutoCad Knowledge of ASTM guidelines Strong commitment to safe work practices Well versed in the understanding and execution of continuous process improvement techniques and training (LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen, etc.). Strong leadership skills required, including excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment Basic knowledge of glass fabrication and manufacturing, CNC machining and assembly preferred Experience with use of CAD, ERP/MRP system Strong technical abilities utilizing MS Office Suite programs and creation of visual graphics.
