Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, particularly in a tech and telecom environment. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required. Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and adapt security-related responses to the unique needs of a technology-driven location. Carry and maintain assigned firearms in accordance with company and legal requirements, ensuring proper handling at all times. Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of incidents relevant to a technology and telecom setting.Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
