Senior Controls/Test Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization committed to innovation and safety, is seeking a Senior Controls/Test Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Controls/Test Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Controls/Test Engineer Location: Milwaukee, WI Pay Range: $80-$84/hr. What's the Job? Support plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals through robust testing and assembly processes Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot production test equipment and programs Design and specify test equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards and OSHA requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering to optimize processes Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies What's Needed? Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computers, Math, or Science from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of experience in test/controls engineering Proficiency in programming software such as Visual Basic, SQL, and Microsoft applications Experience with PLC, HMI programming, and electrical safety systems design Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a team environment What's in it for me?
