(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.  ResponsibilitiesPrepare Project level Cost EstimatesPrepare and maintain Project Level Estimates through various stages of a project, representing the total project scope Utilize various estimating sofware products Develop estimates for the comparison to bids receivedPerform site investigationsAttend required project and staff meetingsDevelop estimates for Value Engineering change proposal reviewsSupport the client in contractor and engineering negotiations  QualificationsMin 2+ years' experience in Cost EstimatingBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology related field, or equivalentThorough knowledge of Railroad Construction practices is preferable but not required Experience with review of Drawings and Contract SpecificationsMust be able to effectively communicate, possess good interpersonal skills and meet deadlinesFull knowledge of computer applications as it relates to Estimation-Hard Dollar or equivalent and MS Office  We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee- Only Stock Purchase PlanMentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunities Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration.
