Certified Body Technician - North Austin

Luxury Auto Body is seeking an experienced Body TechnicianThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.*Responsibilities:** Perform teardown and blueprinting in collaboration with estimators and parts department* Repair vehicle bodies to pre-accident condition following OEM procedures and repair plans* Remove and replace damaged structural and non-structural components (bolt-on and welded)* Repair panels using metal finishing, body filler, stud pulling, and other repair methods* Ensure proper fitment of parts, gaps, and panel alignment before paint* Operate frame machines and computerized measuring systems (if applicable)* Maintain clean and organized work area with high attention to safety and quality* Communicate clearly with team leads about additional damage, supplements, or delays* Consistently hit performance metrics for cycle time, quality, and efficiency*Requirements:*Working interview may be required, we will pay for your time to come work with us for a few days so we can make sure we are a good fit for each otherCompetitive pay + bonus incentives for efficiency and accuracyWeekly pay and consistent workflow year-roundAccess to the latest tools, equipment, and OEM repair dataPrior experience in body shop environmentI-CAR certifications preferredAbility to receive directions and work well with othersMust be punctual and willing to show up everyday and give 100%*Perks:*Hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 6pmHealth insurance (Employer contributes to insurance cost)5 days of paid vacation year 1-2, 10 days year 3-4, year 5+ 15 daysJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceLicense/Certification:* I-CAR Certification (Required)* Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person
