Responsibilities Develop and implement infection control protocols and procedures Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention techniques Conduct surveillance and data analysis to identify trends and outbreaks Collaborate with other departments to implement infection control measures Review and update infection control policies and guidelines Coordinate with public health agencies to report and respond to infectious disease outbreaks Perform environmental monitoring and sampling for infection control purposes Conduct staff training on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist in the management of antibiotic resistance Requirements Job Qualification One year of MedSurg RN experience required, completed within the last two years. Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state if applicable).
