Data Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, database management, and visualization tools, with the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile environment. The Data Analyst will play a key role in developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports that drive business growth and operational efficiency.*Duties** Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.* Perform comprehensive data analysis utilizing SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.* Design and optimize databases with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and performance.* Implement ETL processes using Talend, Bash (Unix shell), and other technologies to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions efficiently.* Support project management activities by applying SDLC principles to ensure timely delivery of analytics projects.* Conduct business analysis to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications.* Assist in the development of linked data strategies to enhance data connectivity across platforms.* Utilize VBA and Visio for process automation and workflow visualization as needed.* Maintain documentation of data models, workflows, and project specifications for transparency and future reference.*Qualifications** Proven experience with data analysis skills including SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and analytics tools.* Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.* Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend and scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell).* Experience with database design, business analysis, project management frameworks (Agile), SDLC processes, and linked data concepts.* Proficiency in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively.* Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail.* Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.* Nice-to-have skills include VBA programming, Visio diagramming, analysis skills with Looker or Power BI platforms.
