*This role is for a Level 2/3 Field Technician who will visit customers on site in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. *Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.You will balance your time between traveling to clients on-site to provide on-site support and remotely handling help desk tickets. When not on-site, you'll work from our office in Winston-Salem or remotely from your home, depending on where you are based. You will spend your first two weeks onboarding in person in our office in Winston-Salem, NC.If you are a skilled technician with great customer service, this is the spot for you. You would be responsible for providing technical assistance for our clients; support related to computer systems, hardware, or software, and cloud technology (primarily Office 365 and other Office Products) - but it's all about the people you would be helping.Navarac is a leader in Managed IT Services in North Carolina. Our primary values are empowerment, transparency, and empathy, and we aim to bring these to each other and to our clients each day.*Primary job functions:** Manage clients' IT hardware and software infrastructure including networking, printing, setup; Active Directory and other Microsoft 365 application management; implementation and management of security, on-boarding and off-boarding policies.* Identify, research, and resolve support tickets using Support tools and processes. Determine when an onsite visit is needed and economically justifiable and be prepared and aware of other issues at that client or nearby clients that can be resolved to make the trip more efficient.* Maintain and support client operating systems and end-user software using remote administration tools.* Maintain, update, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer, network, and printing systems/hardware.* Able to create and maintain procedures, documentation, and reports. Detailed records are vital.*What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):** Experience with Microsoft 365, desktop and servers, Active Directory, and Azure environments.* Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, IPSEC, and SSL VPN, Firewalls, and Wireless networks.* Knowledge of backup, replication, and monitoring solutions.* Experience in troubleshooting technical issues.* Must be able to work well under pressure, independently, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.*What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):** Experience with Sharepoint, or advanced networking capabilities (like wireless deployment and router skills)* Knowledge working for an MSP with remote monitoring and management tools.* Experience in the design and implementation of IT solutions to fit the client needs.Navarac strives to create an atmosphere of teamwork that allows for personal growth and development with a history of great retention and advancement opportunities.
