Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle, a mid-sized firm in Crystal Lake, is seeking an energetic, self-motivated attorney to fill a full-time municipal prosecutor position to prosecute misdemeanor, petty and ordinance violations in both circuit and municipal courts. The ideal candidate should have courtroom experience including drafting and arguing motions and responses to motions, negotiating pleas and litigating cases. The candidate must be licensed in Illinois, be able to multi-task, enjoy a fast-paced environment and have at least one year of experience in criminal or traffic prosecution or defense and/or civil or criminal jury trial experience. Candidates must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. This position will involve civil litigation and some transactional work.
