Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, "WE are Yakima - WE are Family" and "YVFWC - And then we grew," for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.Position Highlights:$45.96-$56.73/hour DOE$10,000 sign-on bonus with your first paycheckAdditional 4% differential for your bilingual skillsEligible for loan repayment programs + paid state license feesAdditional CE time off plus annual cash reimbursementWhat We Offer:100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!What You'll Do:Conduct patient X-ray procedures and store X-raysComplete periodontal charting and prepare tools for Provider examsPerform preventative periodontal care and assist with restorationsAdminister local anesthesia and nitrous oxideProvide oral hygiene education and formulate treatment plansSupport infection control program and provide input for clinic efficiency improvementsMay participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs provided inside and outside the organizationQualifications:Graduation from a Dental Hygiene schoolActive WA State Dental Hygiene licenseCPR certification within 90 days of hireBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene conceptsSkilled in dental anesthesia and restorative proceduresAbility to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all agesEffective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlinesHigh level of dexterity and coordinationBasic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelOur mission celebrates diversity.
