Licensed Landscape Irrigator (LI)

*Job Summary:*We are seeking a qualified and licensed *Landscape Irrigator (LI)* to join our team. This position is responsible for the *design, installation, maintenance, repair, alteration, and servicing* of irrigation systems. The LI will also consult on irrigation solutions, ensuring systems are functional, water-efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations, including connections to private or public water supplies—such as raw or potable water systems and water wells in unincorporated areas.*Key Responsibilities:** *Design* irrigation systems tailored to residential and multifamily properties* *Consult* with clients on efficient water usage and system planning.* *Install* new irrigation systems, ensuring proper function and water conservation.* *Maintain* and *repair* existing systems, including diagnosing and resolving issues with valves, controllers, sensors, and piping.* *Alter or upgrade* existing systems to meet evolving client needs or code requirements.* Connect irrigation systems to appropriate *water supplies*, including municipal lines, potable water, raw water sources, and private wells.* Ensure all work complies with *Texas federal rules and regulations*, including those governing water usage and system safety.* Work independently or in coordination with landscaping crews and other contractors.* Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and installations.*Qualifications:** Valid *Landscape Irrigator (LI) License* as required by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).* Minimum 2 years of experience in irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance.* Strong understanding of irrigation hydraulics, electrical systems, and water conservation practices.* Familiarity with various types of irrigation controllers, valves, and sprinkler systems.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Strong communication and customer service skills.* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.43 - $33.03 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Overtime* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
