Experienced Tree Climber

*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in climbing and operating bucket trucks. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and safety of trees while providing exceptional service to our clients.*Responsibilities** Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks safely and efficiently.* Operate bucket trucks and other equipment to access high branches and perform necessary maintenance.* Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care and treatment.* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.* Collaborate with team members on various landscape maintenance projects, including lawn care and garden upkeep.* Utilize GIS technology to map tree locations and monitor growth patterns as needed.* Communicate effectively with clients regarding services performed and any additional needs for their trees or landscapes.*Skills** Strong knowledge of tree care practices, including growing techniques and maintenance strategies.* Experience in operating bucket trucks safely and efficiently.* Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and garden management.* Proficient in using rigging techniques for safe climbing operations.* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.* Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.* Basic understanding of GIS technology is a plus but not required.Join us in making a positive impact on the environment through expert tree care and landscape maintenance!Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* Overtime* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
