A premier full-service health club in the Peoria, IL area is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Professional to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about racquet sports, highly motivated, and eager to grow within a thriving tennis community.We offer newly resurfaced courts, including 10 indoor hard courts and 4 outdoor clay courts, 12 pickleball courts, providing a high-quality environment for teaching and play year-round.Minimum Qualifications:* 4.0+ playing level* 2+ years of coaching experience* USPTA, USPTR, or PPTA certified (QuickStart certification a plus)* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated* Reliable with a strong work ethicKey Responsibilities:* Work closely with the Director of Racquet Sports to support and grow all racquet programs* Co-manage and direct the junior development program* Provide private and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults* String racquets as needed* Assist with planning, promoting, and executing club events and tournaments* Support front desk operations to supplement pay (as needed)* Promote all racquet sports programming within the club and local community* Maintain a professional and positive image within the clubSchedule:* November – April: 6 days per week* May – October (Summer): 5 days per weekCompensation & Benefits:* Very competitive hourly and commission-based* Opportunities to increase income through lessons, clinics, racquet stringing, and front desk hours* 401k* Health share planGrowth Opportunity:This position includes a clear path to advancement, with the opportunity to transition into the Director of Racquet Sports role upon the current director’s retirement (anticipated roughly within 5 years).
