Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Hablamos español!We are looking for someone who has in depth experience and knowledge both as a seamstress and sewing machine operator to join our apparel manufacturing team. Our sewing operation consists of a diverse team of over 15+ people utilizing modern sewing machines and manufacturing techniques.Understanding of how to cut patterns, interpret custom sizing requests, and sew using a commercial machine are critical. Priority for sewing will be mostly binding, which requires some upper body strength and good sewing skills.Furthermore, you will be learning about our products and working with your manager and sales team to ensure order accuracy and good quality product is being produced at all times.Responsibilities:* Review order paperwork and verify accuracy.* Prepare apparel with velcro, buckles, and other miscellaneous materials.* Bind (sew) the trim to the edge of the apparel.Qualifications:* Extensive knowledge in commercial sewing.* Strength and endurance.* Excellent verbal communication skills.* Strong attention to detail.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceShift availability:* Day Shift (Required)Work Location: In person
