Responsibilities The Non-certified Medical Assistant provides care for patients under the direction of the physician or nurse. Key responsibilities of the role include preparing patient for examinations, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and documenting care in the medical record. Demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages including neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Performs other duties as delegated.
