MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR- NIGHT SHIFT

Interceramic, Inc is currently accepting resumes for a Manufacturing Supervisor. This position is located at our Manufacturing plant in Garland, TX. Must have prior supervisory experience. Currently we are offering a signing bonus for this position. Summary Assisting the Plant Manager in planning and directing work activities and resources necessary for the production needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor the performance of the team members to ensure they are all contributing adequately and working safely Assisting with direction and coordination of production and processing of the manufacturing facility Reviewing processing schedules and production orders to make suggestions to Plant Manager concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraintsAssisting in the development and implementation of production tracking and quality control systems, analysis of production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect production problems Reviewing operations and conferring with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems Assisting with monitoring production standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality Assisting with preparation and maintenance of production reports Recommending procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines Coordinating inventory and cost control programs Other duties may be assignedInterceramic is an equal opportunity employer.
