Laboratory Assistant

We are also offering remote onboarding options and we have partnered with our local client to ensure safety protocols are in place to protect you while on the job. To be qualified for this position, candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, at least 6 months of experience working in a clinical based role, and have interest in medical terminology, biology, laboratory medicine, anatomy physiology, or life sciences. Primary responsibilities include: Assisting in routine sample processing in a high complexity CLIA-certified laboratory Assist various other laboratory professionals with various duties of a fully functioning CLIA-certified laboratory Receive patient specimens and prepare specimens for CO-19 testing, process and transport specimens to lab locations Perform assigned accessioning duties involving the opening, labeling, and distribution of incoming patient samples Assist in routine laboratory maintenance, including equipment maintenance, maintaining lab cleanliness and a safe laboratory environment Accurately enter all sample request information into the inventory management system What''s in it for you?
