Our team is growing, and we''re looking for someone who is able to build a business plan around objectives and execute a profitable strategy, assume direct P&L accountability for assigned vendor lines, and remain responsive to changes in market conditions and implements plans to maximize performance and results Essential Duties & Responsibilities RequiredManages high volume/strategic product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.Owns the communication of Vendor Partner business strategy to internal partners (Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing Services).Ensures that internal partners are in alignment with those business strategies. Develops B2B go-to market strategies, focused on communications externally to the reseller community and internally to the sales organization.Develop thorough marketing plans that include but are not limited to, communication, engagement, incentive, call to action and follow-up for evaluation of success.Ability to quickly propose marketing plan adjustments based on business trends. Ability to identify and propose vendor product and customer segment alignment for optimal market planning.Ability to define strategic marketing plan objectives and deliverables.Analyzes and interprets raw data points to uncover new business opportunities. Interprets charts, spreadsheets and presentations to create marketing terprets PnL statements and makes recommendations for improvement. Understands and negotiates vendor business contract terms.Identifies supply chain improvements.Builds and maintains relationships with existing and new resellers.Provides Vendor Partner with access to new resellers.Provides responsive, courteous support to sales, vendor partners and other internal departments at multiple management levels.Works collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products.Meets and interacts regularly with Vendor Partner reps, management, and executives to make formal presentations on product trends, performance, profitability and results of product line promotions.Makes recommendations on a go-forward strategy.Works with Marketing Services department to develop promotional programs supported by vendor co-op funding resulting in product line growth and profitability.Participates in meetings related to development of overall business strategy or operational guidelines for product marketing division.Develops and participates in quarterly business reviews for their assigned Vendor(s).Assumes leadership role in the department and vendor meetings on assigned projects.Serves as a mentor for Associate Product Managers and Product Managers.Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.Able to coach others in the development of their skills.Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.Able to create and conduct formal presentations.Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.Able to facilitate group interactions.Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.Able to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.Able to think strategically and tactically.Able to work independently with minimum supervision.Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure.Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.Able to prepare/analyze appropriate reports and other business correspondence.Able to provide courteous, timely service when addressing customer questions and concerns.Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an advanced level.
