Location: Gainbridge Fieldhouse - Home of the NBA''s Indiana Packers Indianapolis, IN As a General Manager of Restaurants you will be responsible for:OperationsEnsures great guest service and deliver of hospitality standards by holding team accountability to steps of service, maintaining positive guest relationships including obtaining regular feedback through table visits and executing show quality standardsTrains and conveys brand clarity through menu, wine and beverage knowledgePromotes a positive work environment through hiring/selection of team members, maximizing productivity and morale through team member engagement and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per business needsMaintains state, federal and business compliance, including but not limited to responsible alcohol service guidelines, safety and sanitation standards and client requirementsEngages in the financial goals of the operation with support from the General ManagerControlsEmploys good safety and sanitation practicesFollows and enforces responsible alcohol service policiesExecutes required daily reporting in a timely mannerExecutes inventory controls and purchasing beverageEnsures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookExecutes all menu requirements and fulfills all guest-specific service requestsEnsures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently and expeditiouslyHolds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest serviceEnsures team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobsTeam Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teamPromotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and moraleConducts regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team membersInterviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelinesDisplays a positive attitude towards team membersJob RequirementsExperience in Restaurant/Hospitality Leadership preferredAble to communicate effectively with management team, guests and team members by speaking and comprehending EnglishEnglish reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredAbility to taste and evaluate food and beverage productsMust be flexible with schedule and able to work different shiftsPossible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strainsMust be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shiftAbility to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer systemAbility to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondenceClose vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documentsLevy is an equal opportunity employer.
