Project Accountant

As a Project Accountant, you will be required to report to the Region Controller and manage all accounting/cost aspects of projects working with Project Managers, Branch Managers and Regional Controllers to ensure project financials are reported accurately each month Your duties will also include reviewing budgets and preparing financial reports. Top-Notch project accountants ensure consistent billing and prepare reliable financial reports. Specific Role Responsibilities: Ensuring all project budgets are set up in Vista (ERP)Ensuring all project related costs are booked to the correct project each month.Ensuring all monthly accruals are made at month end to project costReviewing and auditing job cost on projects to ensure accuracyEnsuring all Change Orders on projects are executed and projected revenue, cost and gross profit numbers are updated in Vista each monthEnsuring all projects are billed to clients weekly and/or monthly Skills & Experience Requirements: Experience with project accountingAbility to review, interpret and organize data and informationEnglish - proficient in business writing and oral communicationUnderstand financial terms and basic financial instruments (bonds; guarantees; payment security)Strong communicatorHigh efficiency in MS ExcelExperience in Vista ERP beneficialComputer/Office Machines - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePointAbility to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances
