Job DescriptionThe position will supervise the day to day work of training staff and assist Manager with new hire employee trainings and orientation. Will oversee time and attendance of training staff. Monitors the scheduling, assignment and completion of training classes as will as training projects assigned to staff. Will conduct midyear and year end reviews and gauge performance. May also assist in overall Learning and Performance activities/meeting that support other departments in our organization.The positions has a hybrid work schedule. This means some in office training support will be needed along with being able to work from home on an as needed basis. Here are also some fundamental Components of the position:Provide leadership and management to a group of Learning andPerformance Professionals in same or related discipline; achieving orexceeding all Aetna/CVS's expectations for leaders. Participate in theimplementation of the department's training strategy to supports theachievement of Aetna/CVS's mission and business performance goals and alignwith Aetna/CVS's national learning strategy.Ensure that Aetna/CVS's strategic messages are appropriately imbedded intraining tools and programs.Utilize a variety of educational media to ensure the right training isavailable to support the specific needs of multiple and diverse audienceswithin area(s) of accountability.Manages the delivery of performance-based training for designatedaudience. Participates in the design, development and evaluation ofeffectiveness and return on value of training programs.Ensure compliance with all Aetna/CVS learning standards and policies (e.g.,vendor management, learning management, instructional design and userinterface standards etc.).Collaborate with other corporate and functional training areas for impactand integration of efforts.Simultaneously participate on and/or lead multiple project municate regularly with local/regional/national training design anddevelopment staff to influence the design of program content and providefeedback on program corporate feedback gathered from participants and other relevantaudiences to improve training, processes and products.Ensure that the unit effectively manages curriculum, delivery, reporting andother relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna/CVS LearningCenter.Exhibits behaviors outlined in Training Supervisor SkillsRequired QualificationsHybrid Schedule- 2 days in office Required Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience in Learning and Performance, Training and/or Education1-3 years of Supervisory, Management or Team Leadership experienceIntermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, One Note, PowerPoint)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
