Subcontracts Supervisor with Security Clearance

KBR''s National Security Technology Group (NTG) seeks a Subcontracts Supervisor for our Huntsville Alabama location. The Subcontracts Supervisor performs a full range of procurement/subcontracts administration activities associated with subcontracting and materials and simple service acquisitions. Job Duties/Responsibilities Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Qualifies suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluates proposals, maintains subcontract files in accordance to established procedures* Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team * Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks* Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices* May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members* Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy Basic Qualifications * Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience; Additional years of leadership in the field of supply chain, purchasing, or subcontracts can be utilized in lieu of a degree* In-depth knowledge of subcontract administration and proposal support* Leadership and team management skills* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills* Strong written and verbal communication* Knowledge of company policies or ability to expeditiously learn and implement company policies in the day-to-day work* Time management and organizational skills* Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality* Computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools* Cost Point skills* Previous professional experience in a Government supply chain environment Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor''s degree or higher in supply chain or business-related field* Audit and Compliance experience preferred Security Clearance Requirement * Secret clearance or higher a plus but not required
