New Ryan Field will provide Northwestern donors, alumni, Wildcat fans and local Chicago businesses the most premier facility in college football. In addition to leading the New Ryan Field project, Legends will also be responsible for managing data intelligence, marketing and ticket sales for Northwestern Football, Mens Basketball, and all other ticketed sports.THE ROLE Are you a motivated, organized driven professional who enjoys hitting ambitious goals, being part of a team, and building something special? As a member of the Northwestern Athletics team, the Manager of Digital Marketing (Revenue Generation), is primarily responsible for engaging and driving revenue through the sale of tickets, VIP experiences and premium hospitality packages for the New Ryan Field project and all ticketed sports. We are seeking an experienced team member with a positive, results-oriented approach who can communicate clearly across all platforms and work diligently to create, initiate, manage and direct marketing strategies to promote sales, create awareness, generate interest, maximize attendance, generate revenue and enhance the overall fan experience. The Manager of Digital Marketing (Revenue Generation) will work under the guidance of the Vice President, Premium & Ticketing, and Northwestern Athletic leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborate with department leadership to establish annual campaign goals. End-to-end management of simultaneous, highly-targeted, digital marketing campaigns. In conjunction with internal and external teams, create, initiate, manage and measure marketing campaigns to meet the financial goals of the athletic department. Responsible for constructing, implementing and executing strategic content, marketing, and data campaigns designed to drive revenue centered on the sale of tickets, VIP experiences and premium hospitality packages. Construct campaigns for the purposes of customer acquisition, expansion and retention. The campaigns will leverage digital and direct marketing assets including email, social media, webinars and sponsored events, paid search, display ads, retargeting and direct mail. In concert with the data, content, creative, sales and execution teams, develop personal and targeted segments to promote highly targeted content and messaging centered on specific campaigns. Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies to convert social audience to directly purchase and/or to drive new leads through appropriate channels including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email campaigns. Analyze social media marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies. Understand our audience, our competition and build content that drives customer engagement and traffic. Suggest and implement new promotions, ads, competitions etc. to develop brand awareness, grow the audience and increase engagement Direct and optimize paid, in-kind and traditional media assets. Must illustrate strong interpersonal skills to gain consensus for planned campaigns, negotiate tight deadlines and unite teams with a single campaign vision and voice. Experience in building and integrating marketing teams and programs is a must. Strong digital marketing experience is required. This talented, creative and driven marketer is able to easily manage multiple campaigns at once, adhering to deadlines and meeting and exceeding all campaign goals. Analyze campaigns to determine and evaluate key measurables including Cost Associated per Lead, Online Marketing ROI (return on investment), Customer Conversion Rates, ROAS (return on ad spend) and other KPIs (key performance indicators). Work closely with Marketing team to strategize, maintain, and executive a 30-60-90 day communications timeline using diverse channels of communication Responsible for the leadership, training, coaching, performance and evaluation of the marketing staff. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.
