Working as part of experience strategy and customer experience (CX) teams, you''ll help anticipate emerging opportunities at the intersection of people, culture, technology and business to identify where to play and how to win for VMLY&R clients. You will have autonomy yet will be supported with a moderate level of direction from experience strategy team leads and will work hand-in-hand helping teammates address client specific needs.A senior strategist is a primary driver of research (primary and secondary) and synthesizing those into actionable insights. You will be a critical part as a core team member, contributing across all phases of a CX project, leading defined workstreams and contributing to all team''s problem-solving and communication activities. Experience strategy is core to the VMLY&R Customer Experience (CX) practice, providing leadership across growth strategy, customer experience and product management, digital strategy, business design and innovation.ResponsibilitiesBe human-centered in all you doCultivate a deep understanding of the intersection of consumer motivationsIndependently execute environment and trends analysis, translating takeaways into actionable insightsCan deep dive into data and user analytics to understand behavior and results and develop actionable recommendations.Participate in and facilitate workshops with clients to help push strategic discussions and alignmentExecute research in support of the business rationale for CX efforts and developing a roadmap to ensure strategy connections to actionBe a thinker and a doer. An innovator and a visionary. A structured advisor (internal and external) with a creative imagination.Partner with experience strategy leads, CX teammates and account leadership to deliver on client needsContribute to the VMLY&R experience strategy and CX thought leadership and IPSkills & ExperienceStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and a superior critical thinkerComfort with planning, executing, and synthesizing different types of research (e.g., capacity to create panels and screeners, leverage online research tools)Has a wide span of knowledge and experience across Digital, CRM, Mobile, Social, CMS, SEO, Commerce, and/or AnalyticsAn innovator and visionary with a creative imagination and a way of working that inspires creativityA demonstrated passion, familiarity, and curiosity with design thinking methodologyAbility to communicate effectively, aggregating information into an intuitive, easy to-understand flow (both orally and written)Completion of a bachelor''s degree and a multidisciplinary background, preferably in a related major such as marketing, strategy, psychology, sociologyInterest in customer experience, product management, strategy, and innovation3-5 years applicable experienceOur BenefitsAs the world leader in communications services, we rely on the creativity of our people to deliver the best work for our clients.
