Summary of Role: We''re excited about building our technology team that will be at the forefront of solar technology and software. Were looking for an experienced Python API developer that is interested in contributing to growing and scaling a pivotal application for an increasingly growing industry of solar. You will have a real impact on the business and technology. You will be working with our engineering, product management, and design teams to help deliver a great user experience across all aspects of Sunpowers design, sales, and solar installation. Working with a small team using an agile development process, you will be bringing solar products to life and helping build new features across all areas of our solar product line. You will develop high-performance, highly responsive, intuitive, and sleek experiences that will delight our solar customers and solar designers. You can expect to participate in all aspects of the product life cycle. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience + 6 years of experience as a Python developer with knowledge of REST API architecture + Advanced experience with Flask or Django + Proficient with RESTful API design and implementation + Proficient with Docker for local development and production deployment + Proficient with code versioning systems (Git) + Experience with relational databases and datastores: Postgres, Redis + Experience writing python integration and unit tests + A proficient communicator with both technical and non-technical parties Nice to have: + Proficient in machine learning and neural networks + Familiar with Salesforce interface + Machine Learning + Excellent problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. + Experience integrating with 3rd party systems (Eg: AWS S3, SalesForce, Apis Dont meet every single requirement?
