Senior Engineer with Security Clearance

Description Senior Engineer USA/Remote Orbis is actively seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the technical aspects of projects related to aircraft weapon systems, Support Equipment (SE), Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and/or Test Program Sets (TPS). The candidate''s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing, supporting, or supervising the following actions: * Review and recommends for approval or disapproval technical data related to aircraft weapon systems, SE, ATE and/or TPS. * Integrate engineering and managerial disciplines to attain objectives. * Work within the Navy''s acquisition methodology and be experienced in communications with other contractors within the DoD in order to resolve problems. * Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently. * Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Requirements: * BS or BA in Engineering, either Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Computer. * Having an advanced Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Degree is preferred. * Ten (10) years of experience in technical aspects of projects related to aircraft weapon systems SE, ATE and/or TPS. * Demonstrate experience managing and directing diverse task teams in a dynamic environment similar to the technical complexities of the Navy Aircraft SE Program. * Demonstrate experience using common office tools such as Microsoft Project. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Experience or skills that demonstrate the ability to work as part of a large team using various forms of technology (i.e. phone, email, GoToMeeting, Web-X). * Proficient with common productivity software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. * Must be a US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
