Experienced PV Designer - $300 SIGN ON BONUS

Position Summary:A PV Designer/Design Specialist is responsible for serving as a technical product specialist for PV inverter systems. This person is responsible for analyzing and developing system designs based on expert knowledge, jurisdiction requirements and known solutions. The Storage Design Specialist is part of Design and Battery Storage teams and must effectively communicate with sales representatives, corporate employees, and field technicians to ensure accurate solar and storage pensation will be based on experience.Essential Duties:Design PV inverter systems with battery storage solutions using multiple programs and software such as Aurora, Excel, SiteCapture, and AutoCADDevelop strong understanding of structural, electrical, storage, and fire codes nationwide to incorporate into system designsCreate permit applications for submission in different jurisdictionsAnswer advanced technical questions regarding PV systems, with or without storage componentsMake informed decisions regarding same day and immediate installation changes (layouts, interconnections, etc.) that follows Blue Raven''s values in order to support the field in completing installationsIdentify the root cause of common issues in the field and problem solve to prevent reoccurrenceBuild processes and systems and people to support the design and installation capacity growth for storage systemsCommunicate clearly with field and corporate employeesMinimum Qualifications:Be a go-getter who is willing to take on initiative/responsibility, solve issues, and create resultsTwo years'' experience in the solar industry doing PV system and storage designMultitask, manage time well, be organized, and stay busy with work-related tasksLearn, track, and follow up on detailsTake responsibility for individual and shared tasksProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, ExcelSuccessful track record of continued professional growthDemonstrated ability to learn new computer and technical programs quicklyKey Competencies:Communicate effectively, professionally, and kindly with people of varied backgrounds and ability levelsBe resilient when faced with challengesExperience using AutoCAD Software95%+ attendance and schedule adherence, request time off in advance, does not miss excessive work due to sick/personal daysZIR
