Starting wage $24-$26 per hour. Sign on bonus $1000. $250 paid quarterly during the 1st year of employment. Maintenance Technician Job Description:Job Overview:Freedom Enterprises is a rapidly growing company which owns and operates 50+ Scooter''s Coffee locations in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri. We are actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team to perform repairs & preventative maintenance in our stores. Work will include but not limited to carpentry repairs, refrigeration repairs, espresso machines, brewers, water filtration, etc. The successful applicant will be responsible for overall facility appearance and functionality. Training on the coffee equipment will be provided. Knowledge of other general maintenance is preferred.Reliability, a good eye for detail, and strong problem-solving skills will be essential in this role. The ideal candidate will have well rounded experience and solid technical knowledge.Responsibilities and Duties:Perform minor fixes such as light plumbing, electrical, and minor cosmetic needs to the store facilitiesTroubleshoot and repair store equipment such as commercial ovens, coolers/freezers, water filtration systems, HVAC, etc.Periodically install new equipmentProactively perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as ice machines & HVACCollaborate with co-workers and other contractors during renovations & upgradesReport to the lead maintenance technician for issues and repair plans / troubleshootingPrioritize repairs to ensure stores are running as smoothly as possible.Qualifications and Skills:EPA 608 Type I & II preferred, but not requiredMust have basic computer knowledge to update and close out work ordersAbility to perform repairs around employees in a busy store settingExperience using a multimeter to take electrical readings is a plusKnowledge of 3 Phase 208 systemsKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systemsExperience using hand and electrical toolsAbility to read technical manuals and schematics.Very good communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-StarterPositive attitude and drive to continuously learnHigh school diploma or equivalentClean driving record requiredBackground check required prior to employment.
