MVH - Augusta is hiring Registered Nurses - RNs for our new state-of-the-art facility, now open. MVH-Augusta is the first of its kind in Maine to deliver long-term care through the small house model. This model is organized around the philosophy, ''nothing about me without me'', providing true resident directed care. The campus consists of 4 villages (Transitional Care, Long Term Care, Memory Care, Residential Care), with two to four ''houses'' per village, accommodating 10-15 residents. The role of the Registered Nurse - RN is to provide leadership to the direct care staff and interdisciplinary team, serving as a coach, mentor and collaborator. Being a Registered Nurse - RN in a small house has proven to be especially rewarding to those who have a passion for individualized care, similar to home health.
