Job Duties ConvenientCare clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. Services at some clinics may also include x-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy. The ideal Geisinger ConvenientCare candidates will: Take responsibility and ownership of their site Possess strong interpersonal skills Be self-motivated Have excellent prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities Have urgent care experience and the ability to perform procedures such as suturing and splinting EXPERIENCE: Advanced practitioners must have at least six months of Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Critical Care advanced practice professional experience and the ability to treat patients age one and older.
