Our engaged and diverse workforce is committed to providing climate control solutions that provide the most value and comfort for our customers.We are proud to have instilled a shared sense of responsibility and commitment among our approximately 10,000 employees located throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.Job DescriptionAs the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable- Shared Services, you will report to the Director, Financial Shared Services and lead the Accounts Payable function for Lennox in North America, as well as provide guidance for global Accounts Payable teams.WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING:Directly lead a team of 8 Accounts Payable Processors locally, and partner with the offshore Manager to lead a team of 32 processors by training, coaching, motivating, setting goals, assist in evaluating performance and planning work assignmentsManage the team processing a high volume of daily invoices that are imported into the invoice processing and accounting systemsOversee vendor management validation and support for inventory and non-inventory suppliers in partnership with Master Data Governanceand internal stakeholdersRegularly interface with other teams to resolve escalations, invoice discrepancies and disputes in a timely mannerDevelop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of invoice and payment processing, which includes automation project initiatives, testing new functionality and supporting system upgradesEnhance dashboards with KPIs to monitor performance and efficiency and develop reporting for executive teamDevelop, update, and maintain service level agreements and process documentationAssist in developing policies and procedures with effective controls to mitigate relevant process risksDuties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to timeQualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Requires at least 5 years experience as a manager and at least 8 years related experienceLeadership experience in a shared services transactional environment supervising teams of 6 or more is requiredBachelors degree in accounting or related field required; Master''s degree highly desirable (will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience)Accounts payable, accounts receivable, or customer service supporting multiple systemsProject development and leadership for process and system enhancementsExperience in policy and process development/improvement is strongly preferredExperience with complex procure-to-pay solutions requiredSAP experience strongly preferredAdvanced excel skills requiredBasic knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliation accountsExperience developing and delivering training to end-users and team membersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsComplex and creative problem-solvingWHAT WE OFFER:At Lennox, we realize that our greatest assets are our employees.
