Job SummaryAs a Stewarding Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, kitchen sanitation, and product accessibility/availability so that the kitchen team can work to provide our guests with exceptional hospitality experiences.Detailed ResponsibilitiesMonitors product quality regularly according to Levy guidelinesEnsures proper kitchen opening and closing stewarding responsibilities are met and achieved on a daily basisMaintains storage areas to ensure all products are accessibleDevelops action plans and solutions to issues/problems in a timely mannerDirects cleaning of equipment and work areasManages and monitors the transportation of all food Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all timesEnsures proper execution of preventive maintenance schedule as set forth by Director of OperationsProvides operational planning to ensure adequate products and equipment are ordered for anticipated business levelsConducts bi-annual small wares inventories, maintains provides insight into small ware purchases and rental situationsEmploys good safety and sanitation practicesImplements and executes daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and assignments Thoroughly familiar with the city, state and health regulations as well as the safe and sanitary handling and production of foodPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipmentEnsures team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook Achieves assigned delegation budget goalsThoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (BOSS, Point-of-sale, WFM and more)Schedules team members to meet operational needs Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team membersConducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team membersInterviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy Restaurants guidelinesOther duties/responsibilities, as assignedJob RequirementsExperience working in a fast-paced food and beverage environmentPassionate about safety and sanitationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell organized, able to handle multiple tasks at the same timeHigh level of computer literacyCurious about Life at Levy?
