BLS required. ACLS preferred. EKG interpretation skills required. Diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health by utilizing the nursing process, as well as health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to the restoration of optimal wellness. Emphasis will be placed on care of the Cardiovascular patient. Must be able to demonstrate and assist patients with exercise. 2 years med-surg experience with emphasis on Cardiovascular nursing. Previous Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred. Public speaking and/or health counseling. The nurse does the initial and follow up patient assessments, documentation, progress reporting to the referring physician, health education and counseling to the patient and family. The clinical nurse is also needed to provide clinical support for medical issues and emergencies as they occur regarding: blood pressure, blood glucose, arrythmias, chest pain, insulin pumps, LVAD''s, life vests, potential patient falls, and any other medical situation as it may arise.Occasional Saturday mornings may be required.Apply (CH EmployeesClick Here to ApplyApply Later
