As a Regulatory Affairs Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the company's strategic regulatory efforts with a concentrated focus on our Commercial (Health Plan and Employer plan), Exchange and Medicaid lines of business. You will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver exceptional state and federal level regulatory support to clients and will have significant influence in driving clients' level of confidence in CVS Caremark's ability to administer their plans. As a regulatory subject matter expert, you will be expected to participate in client facing meetings and engagements including educational/informational webinars, and finalists and new client implementation meetings. The Senior Manager is responsible for understanding state and federal regulatory requirements for PBM related topics including but not limited to formulary management, utilization management, prior authorization/appeals, and networks. The position requires a deep understanding of state and federal legislative and regulatory bodies, agencies, and processes. You will collaborate with key business area partners on the analysis and interpretation of regulatory requirements impacting our Commercial, Exchange, and Medicaid clients, and you will work with impacted business owners as a regulatory subject matter expert resource to assist with the evaluation of compliance. This position will require you to work independently in a collaborative team environment. You will need to dive into details and assist with summarizing regulations and their impacts for presentation to a senior leadership audience. Excellent communication skills are required as the Senior Manager will engage with various internal business partners and senior leadership related to regulatory implementations. As part of the CVS Caremark Regulatory Affairs team, the Senior Manager will be focused on driving a high level of client and internal business owner satisfaction related to regulatory interpretation and guidance. Your regulatory work will also focus on guiding client decision making in the context of regulatory requirements. This is a work from home opportunity from any location within the continental United States.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 162,700Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 7 years of experience in one of the following categories: Medicaid and/or commercial health plan regulatory experience, pharmacy practice, PBM operations, or a combination of PBM and regulatory experience 2+ years of experience working cross functionally with multiple internal stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or other collaborative workspace programs.
