They were recently assigned two (2) four-year assignments inspecting bridges throughout the state of Connecticut for Connecticut DOT as well as bridges throughout NYC and Long Island for New York State DOT. Responsibilities: Conducts site investigations as part of an inspection teamWorks collaboratively with all members of the engineering dive groupPrepare standard documents, such as technical reportsAssists Project Managers to ensure that the scope of work is fulfilled, and that the contracted deliverables go out on schedule and as budgetedAbility and willingness to travel as required, approximately 50% overnight Requirements (3) three years "preferred" related construction or bridge inspection experienceDive Certification, NBIS, UW bridge inspection training is requiredValid driver’s licenseExperience as a commercial diver, including underwater inspections of bridges, piers, piles, wharves, docks, and bulkheadsFamiliarity with sound engineering and safe diving principlesOvernight travel at 50% with paid expenses. This is an IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW but the hiring manager will wait for the right candidate. $ 105,000.00 - $ 125,000.00/year plus sign-on bonus The “Good Times” that were predicted to rebound have begun.
