Senior Accountant

We are excited to partner with a wonderful non-profit organization in Oakland (3 days onsite) to help them find an innovative and disciplined temp to hire Senior Accountant to join their mission-driven team! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $48 per hour.Responsibilities: Ensure that earned and contributed revenue, as well as receivables, match the ledgers. Oversee checks and balances for all department transactions, auditing procedures to verify the accuracy of journal entries. Record and track accounts in alignment with funder directives and audit requirements. Assist with payroll processing and ongoing entries related to payroll expenses, benefits, and employee-related check issuance.
