Senior Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with an entertainment company who is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager. This position will be fully remote, but ideal candidate must reside in California. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $130,000 to $155,000 per year. Job Description: Participate in and direct our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and trend analyses Review contracts related to film and television studio projects and brand projects Review the sales commissions and director share calculations for accruals and quarterly payments Support the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules and working with auditors Partner with production team to research and analyze transactions Requirements: CPA or working towards CPA preferred Sage Intacct experience a plus Proficiency in Excel and Word required Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience, with a minimum of 1 year of management experience and 2 years of experience in relevant industry REF44861 #LI-POST
