Maintenance - Maintenance Technician I

Job description: We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd shift or 3rd shift) to join our team! You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. Responsibilities: * Repair, install, and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. * Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. * Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. * Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. * Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion. * Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. * Perform mechanic skills including and not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. * Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. * Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. * Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent, or AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred * 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience * Experience with injection molding * Welding experience preferred * Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment * Ability to handle physical workload
