CGP: Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $36 to $40 per hour.Job Description: Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations and GL/subsidiary ledgers reconciliations Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports Maintain GL account subsidiary worksheets and data bases Assist with annual operating and capital budgets preparation Assist with regulatory and government reporting Assist with annual external audits preparation Perform month-end close Requirements: Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information Detail-oriented A team player Strong work ethic Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 1 year relevant experience REF46770 #LI-POST#ZR
