Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Support the center's goals, guidelines, and standards of excellence. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Credentials EDU 119 or equivalency as defined by DHHS Education Workforce, preferred. Experience: Relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: NC CDL License, preferred. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required. ITS SIDS within 2 months of hire, required. BSAC (Basic School Age) for those working with school age children, required. DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter and education verification or workforce letter (within 60 days). Additional Skills Required: BSAC required or those working with school age children and CDL if driving the bus if applicable. Maintain training hours requirements as outlined for substitutes by regulatory compliance.
